Lincoln Sport Parachute Club (LSPC) is a club DZ. One of the first such clubs in the country when it was formed in back 1959, LSPC celebrated 50 years in 2009. LSPC's club structure means that club members actually own the planes (2 Cessna 182s) and the airport (Brown's Field.)
LSPC is located between Omaha and Lincoln Nebraska and draws club members from both cities as well as the surrounding area. The club holds the aptly named "Redemption Boogie" each July -- though not at its primary location in Weeping Water, NE, but in nearby Plattsmouth, NE. In addition to tandems , LSPC also conducts static line training on a regular basis.
The airport consists of two dirt runways. There are two hangars and the aforementioned two 182s. Additional facilities include a clubhouse, camper area, student training area, and shower facilities. At one time there was a portable kiddie pool that served as an occasional swoop pond.
